Celebrating the 2026 National Conference
Last weekend, we joined together for three days of introductory and advanced sessions in Dalcroze eurhythmics, solfège, improvisation, and more, all on the campus of Five Towns College in Dix Hills, NY.
With the theme of “Becoming Music, Embodying Change,” we celebrated the power of intention, creativity, and dynamic learning in Dalcroze education. When guided by clear purpose, teaching, movement, and music can be deeply meaningful. This theme emphasizes how, by becoming rhythm, melody, and harmony, we not only deepen our own expression but also enrich our communities. Through the Dalcroze practice, music and movement create spaces that facilitate belonging and inspire change.

We hope that attendees had a joyful, inspiring, and meaningful experience, returning home with new ideas, energy, and deeper connections within our Dalcroze community.
We would also like to extend a huge thanks to the presenters, volunteers, conference sub-committee, and hosts at Five Towns College. Truly, these are the people that made this event possible.

Many conference sessions were recorded, and we look forward to sharing them in the coming months. These videos will be available to all DSA members through our website.
If you’re already eager for more Dalcroze conference material, you can find our archive of videos the 2020, 2023, and 2024 conferences (and more) on our website.
We hope to see you at the 2028 conference—when we celebrate 50 years as a non-profit organization!
