Adaptations / Extensions

  • It may be done in canon up to three voices.
  • Try using the natural minor mode or any other modal scale by adapting the distance among the sticks.

Assessment / Reflection Suggestions

Assess intonation by having students sing a cappella without the piano harmonizing the scale. You can also incorporate silent singing (audiation) with singing aloud.
