Eurhythmics and Improvisation with Cheng-Feng Lin

Early Bird Rate - Register by March 10 for $25 admission!

"The Swiss visual artist Paul Klee (a contemporary of Jaques-Dalcroze) once said, "A line is a dot that went for a walk." Departing from this thought, we will explore through eurhythmics, and improvisation in movement and voice."

Since 1999 Cheng-Feng has never lived a day without Dalcroze Eurhythmics. Dalcroze work continues to influence him as a musician, as a teacher, and as a listener. He holds a degree in piano performance from McGill University in Montréal, Québec. He received the certificate, the license and M.Mus in Dalcroze Eurhythmics from Longy School of Music in Cambridge, MA. He has also pursued studies  and received the Diplôme Supérieur from l’Institut Jaques Dalcroze in Geneva, Switzerland. In the past he has collaborated in workshop teaching with Dalcroze France, Dalcroze Mexico, International Dalcroze Congress in Geneva and locally with the Royal Conservatory of Music and local school board. He currently serves as the Co-Director of Studies for Dalcroze Canada, mentoring the candidates in the certification program.
