Presented by experienced Dalcroze practitioners, this series offers a unique window into how movement can transform musical understanding and creativity, providing music educators with joyful, interactive ways to connect with music and their students.

What is Dalcroze Education?

Dalcroze education offers a joyful and interactive way for music educators to connect with music and students. When Dalcroze approaches are integrated into traditional instruction, teaching becomes more dynamic, discovery-based, and effective. Dalcroze pedagogy is a holistic approach that encourages students to take ownership of their learning with the teacher as their guide.

Dalcroze education is an experiential approach that integrates movement, ear training, solfège, and improvisation to deepen musical comprehension. It provides a physical approach to music that supports a rigorous curriculum, leading students to grasp both the structure and aesthetics of music.
