Section 5: Website Creation & Maintenance

Getting your website up and running, and keeping it updated with your current activities.

Dalcroze Society of America

Chapters are encouraged to maintain an online presence that shares information about the chapter’s activities and events. The DSA website offers a central webpage on Local Chapters at www.dalcrozeusa.org/chapters

Chapter web pages may be hosted on the DSA website at no cost. This allows for cohesive branding and information, accurate and updated event listings, and centralized event registration. Chapters may submit any website edits to at alex[at]dalcrozeusa.org. (Turnaround for edits will be within one week, or faster if it is an urgent change.)

Chapters may also choose to host their website privately, which will be linked from the DSA website (for example, New York Dalcroze). In this case, the Chapter is responsible for website maintenance and any associated costs. Chapters should do their best to keep the information and event listings current and accurate. (Many website hosting services don’t automatically “archive” old events, so an event from last year might still be on your homepage!)
